PURPOSE:To improve productivity and reduce cost of material and processing by dividing a copper bar to pieces by cutting and drawing by cold forging. CONSTITUTION:A coillike copper round bar 5C is cut to pieces 7. The piece is drawn by cold forging to form a bottomed tubular body 8 having a bottom on one end. A hole 9 is pierced on the bottom, and the other end is expanded to form an expanded part 4. The series of processing are made successively automatically to reduce processing time, lower material cost and save cutting cost. |
