摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of production by forming the incident surfaces of 2 sets of lenses which form light images to two arraylike photosensors into spherical surfaces and providing total reflection surfaces and light transmission surfaces on the exit sides. CONSTITUTION:Two pieces of photosensors 11, 12 are formed on a sensor substrate 10, and the incident surfaces of imaging lenses 13, 14 for conducting light images to the sensors are made into spherical surfaces 13a, 14a. Total reflection surfaces 13b, 14b, and planes 13c, 14c which transmit light are provided on the exit side. The light from a subject S is reflected by a reflecting mirror 15, is totally reflected by the surface 13b of the lens 13, transmits through the plane 13c and is imaged on the sensor 11. The light of a reflecting mirror 16 is imaged similarly on the sensor 12. A distance D is determined from the electrical outputs from these sensors 11, 12. Therefore, the need for triangular prisms is eliminated, the working for vapor deposition of the total reflection surfaces is eliminated, the number of parts is reduced and the cost of production reduced.
