PURPOSE:To enable to weld a brush body which contains less than 90wt% of metal by burying a conductive metal member in the body and welding it to a brush plate. CONSTITUTION:A conductive metal member 2 is bruied on the surface of a brush body 1 which contains 0-90wt% of metal and main content of the residue of graphite with the exposed surface retained, and a brush plate 3 made of metal having elasticity is welded to the exposed surface of the member 2. Since the member is utilized in this manner, the brush body which contains less than 90wt% of metal content can be welded, and the contracting resistance of the body with the brush plate can be eliminated by this welding. |
