<p>Method for moulding an object from glass e.g. a double-walled vessel consists of turning a tubular section of the object inside out by regionally heating the part to be moulded. A force is exerted on the wall of the tubular part in the direction in which it extends, to produce inversion. Relative movement of the heating zone ensures it coincides with a moving (inversion) zone for duration of the moulding process.</p> |
