In a gas heating device with an atmospheric burner, the latter draws fresh air from the housing and thus from the installation room. In order to eliminate the risk of a shortage of fresh air in the installation room, an air duct from outside opens into the housing interior of the gas heating device. Arranged in the air duct is a blower which conveys fresh air.
