PURPOSE:To reduce operation errors, by setting the unit of the most significant digit to 100 degrees to perform the processing when an object position of navigation is set with longitude and latitude and setting the unit of the most significant digit to 10,000 microseconds or the like when it is set with the arrival differential time of radio waves. CONSTITUTION:When an object position is set with latitude and longitude, they are set in order and the unit of the most significant digit is set to 100 degrees; and when the object position is set with differential time, the unit of the most significant digit is set to 10,000 microseconds. Since the maximum value of latitude is 100 degrees in the South Pole and the North Pole, the most significant digit is ''0'' normally. In case of differential time, since the most significant digit is always a value of 10,000-90,000 microseconds, the set value is not ''0'' at all. Consequently, latitude is always set first when latitude and longitude are set, and it is discriminated whether the most significant digit is ''0'' or not to discriminate easily whether the set value is latitude and longitude or differential time. Thus, erroneous operations are reduced. |
