The invention relates to a swimming-pool system. Heating of the swimming-pool water to the respectively desired temperature by means of a solar heating system or a heat-pump heating system has been difficult and costly until now. It is precisely when the sun is not shining and the solar heating system can supply little energy that correspondingly more energy is required in order to heat an outdoor swimming pool. Even for the operation of a heat-pump heating system, it would be favourable to be able to store the heat in a cost-effective manner. For this purpose, the invention proposes that the pool be subdivided, by means of a false floor, into an upper part which can be used for swimming and a lower pool area which is separated therefrom, and that the lower pool area contain stone material, which serves as a heat-storing means, and a water supply. All that needs to be done is thus to excavate the pool to a correspondingly deep extent in order to obtain an additional pool area in which a sufficiently large quantity of heat can be stored. <IMAGE>
