A sliding sphere, as a puzzle, has surface parts arranged on the sphere surface which are displaceable relative to one another. In order to increase the number of possible relative positions of the surface parts, and hence the attraction of the game, solid surface parts are avoided. All surface parts are displaceable on the surface of the sphere. Since all these surface parts jointly form the surface of the sphere, an integral, continuous sphere surface without projecting parts is achieved, which sits pleasantly in the hand.
