The invention relates to a connecting arrangement for the rotationally secure clamping of flanges, the front faces of which face one another, by means of bolts arranged in flange holes. For this purpose, surface projections formed by embossing are provided at least over certain areas on the front face of at least one flange and these dig into the other flange front face when the flanges are clamped together. This prevents displacement of the flanges relative to one another in the case of relatively high torques acting on the flanges in opposite directions.
