The invention relates to a portion pack for single use, which is filled with an aromatised instant beverage product, in particular an aromatised instant coffee product, and which [lacuna] in a sealed, essentially gas-impermeable packaging, a predetermined amount of a soluble beverage product, in particular soluble coffee product, on which is situated less than 0.6% by weight of an edible oil, in particular less than 0.4% by weight of coffee oil. The packaging further contains 0.1 to 0.8% by weight of an aroma oil, in particular 0.4 to 0.5% by weight of aromatised coffee oil, applied to the inner surface of the sealed packaging before addition of the coffee product. The portion pack, on opening, has an improved initial aroma effect, unpleasant oily cups being reduced to a minimum.
