It has hitherto been difficult, when supplying a number of spindle systems of a machine with a lubricating oil mist, to supply all the bearings with the same quantity of oil per unit time. With a rotational distributor, the flow of oil mist is divided up in such a way that all the systems connected to it are connected cyclically to the oil mist appliance, while, for the remainder of the time, filtered air is used to convey the oil and seal off the bearings from the ingress of dirt originating from the air flowing out of the gap seals. The appliance consists of a housing (1) in which there is a rotating disc (2). The disc divides the housing into two chambers. One chamber (3) is supplied with oil mist and the other chamber (4) is supplied with filtered air. A distributor (5) with a hole allows the oil mist to flow from one chamber into the consumer line connected at any one particular time and simultaneously seals this line off from the chambers containing filtered air, from which the other consumer lines are supplied. <IMAGE>
