(1) is an electrode with a constant potential. Below the container are one or several electrodes (2) maintaining a pulsating electric potential. The heated container, (1) and (2) are immersed in a medium which consists of a non-conductive liquid with a high dielectric constant and surface tension, and completely wets the metal to be granulated.
