摘要 The invention relates to a measuring device which, for coupling the light waves of a pulse laser (1) into one end (4a) of the optical fibre (4) exhibits a scattering disc (3) which simultaneously scatters some of the light onto a receiver (7) onto which the other end (4b) of the optical fibre is directed so that the receiver (7) detects the scattered light as starting pulse and the light pulse delayed by the optical fibre. The time difference ( DELTA t) between the two pulses is a measure of the length of the optical fibre. Elaborate adjustment processes are avoided by using instead of a beam splitter a scattering disc as input coupler. The device according to the invention is suitable for measuring the length of optical fibres. <IMAGE>
