Spool valves for hydraulic power amplifiers for controlling pressure-medium connections between a pressure space and a pressure source or a return are known in which a control spool is guided in an axially displaceable manner in an axial bore of a control housing with a radial feed passage and a return passage and in which the feed and return passage can be closed by a radially displaceable sealing arrangement. In known spool valves, it can be considered to be a disadvantage that high-pressure lines have to be provided at the control spool. The high-pressure lines on the one hand make the device more expensive and on the other hand exert an adhesive action on the parts coming in contact with them. In contrast, the present invention proposes to design a spool valve in such a way that the feed passage (5) and the return passage (6) can be controlled by two sealing bodies (17, 23) mounted independently of one another in the radial direction at the control spool (2). <IMAGE>
