In the case of a climbing shuttering, comprising a bracket (12), which is to be anchored on the wall (10) and a shuttering element (16), there is provided a bearing arrangement (24; 22) which ensures a simultaneous tilting and lifting of the shuttering element when moving it away from the newly produced wall portion, as a result of which, in the tilted position, a free space is provided beneath the shuttering element (16), the height (H) of which space is dimensioned such that a person can crawl through and reach through, beneath said shuttering element, with ease. The combined lifting and pivoting movement is defined by a connecting rod (26). In order to transfer the shuttering element from the shuttering position into the tilted position and vice versa, use can be made of cable drives, hydraulic cylinders, rack-and-pinion drives, spindles or the like. <IMAGE>
