The invention relates to a coaxial cable which has a primary conductor (26) enclosed by a dielectric (28). The dielectric (28) is for its part surrounded by a secondary screening conductor (30, 32), which has the form of a laminate comprising a non-conductive material and a conductive material, the non-conductive material being arranged adjacent to the dielectric (28). A sheath (34), enclosing the secondary screening conductor (30, 32), contains enclosed in it glass-fibre filaments (36) extruded in the longitudinal direction. <IMAGE>
