摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain fluid bearing having sleeves a uniform inner peripheral surface each by a method wherein in an arbor with an desired diameter is inserted into the inner peripheral surfaces of sleeves having a spiral dynamic pressure generating groove on each of the inner peripheral surfaces in a cylindrical form and heated to shrink each of the inner peripheral surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Many sleeve members 1, 2 having spiral dynamic pressure generating grooves each are prepared by injection molding or the like on plastic, cylindrical, inner peripheral surfaces 11, 21. An arbor 3 with a desired diameter is inserted into the inner peripheral surfaces of these sleeve members 1, 2 and heated and the inner peripheral surfaces of respective sleeves are shrunk down to the dimension limited by the diameter of the arbor 3. Thus, sleevs having mutual small differences in size and precision of the inner peripheral surfaces are provided efficiently. When obtained sleeves are assembled and used as one sleeve, the inner peripheral surfaces are joined closely and troubles due to leakage of lubricant do not occur.
