PURPOSE:To transmit data in a unit frame with an optimum data length at all times, by setting a transmission data length with a coincidence signal between an up-down counter in response to an affirmative/negative response signal from a reception system and a data length counter value. CONSTITUTION:To a reversible counter 12 at a transmission side T, 128 bytes are set in advance and a shift clock from a trnsmitter 10 is inputted to a data length counter 13 and counted. Thus, when both values are coincident with each other, a comparator 14 coutputs a coincidence signal and stops the shift clock from the transmitter 10. While a receiver 11 receives an ACK signal, since the counter 12 is incremented by (n), data can be transmitted at the transmission of the next unit frame until the value of the counter 13 reaches 128+n. Conversely, when an NACK signal is received, since the reversible counter 12 is decremented by (n), when the value of the counter 13 reaches 128-n at the transmission of the next unit frame, the shift clock from the transmitter 10 is stopped, allowing to inhibit the transmission of further data. |
