<p>This steering-control shaft for motor vehicles is of the same type as those used on vehicles intended to be equipped with an anti-theft device in which the steering system is locked; there is no anti-theft collar fixed onto it in the conventional manner, but it is tubular and it is arranged so as to comprise, in the region where the anti-theft collar is generally added, a portion of a larger diameter, equal to that of such an anti-theft collar, and of a greater thickness, which portion is pierced with a longitudinal slot similar to that of the anti-theft collar and is intended to receive the catch of the lock when the latter is in the "stop" or "parking" position. <IMAGE></p> |
