PURPOSE:To enable to stably supply ink over a long period of time by a structure wherein each recording unit is provided with an individual ink supplier and as well as a replenishing system of ink to be supplied to all the suppliers. CONSTITUTION:Each of the recording units 100, 200 and 300 is one and the same constitution equipped with each of recording heads 112, 212 and 312, which are rectilinearly disposed in the direction normal to the surface of paper of the attached drawing as recording elements forming ink jet nozzles in a full-line. Each of the recording heads 112, 212 and 312 is driven in response to electric signal sent from information source. Each of the ink supply devices 113, 213 and 313 is communicated with each of the recording heads 112, 212 and 312 through each of ink supply pipes 115, 215 and 315 respectively. The ink in an ink replenishing tank 400 is rendered to be replenished through a main conduit 401 and branch pipes 116, 216 and 316 into each of the ink supply devices 113, 213 and 313. |
