PURPOSE:To ensure the perfect sealing and to improve the electric characteristics, by using the resin which has a small forming shrinkage factor, a small water absorbing factor and a low forming temperature to seal a magnetic head material body into a shielding case. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head material body 7 is fitted into a shielding case 1. The head material body 7 contains magnetic cores 3 and 3 which are set into a pair of core supports 2 and 2. A coil 4 is wound around the basement of the core 3 via a bobbin 4a. The resin 6 is filled into the case 1 after the material body 7 is positioned into the case 1. Thus the body 7 is sealed to the case 1 in a body. The thermosetting resin is used for the resin 6 which contains mainly the polyester resin or the diallylphthalate resin and a reinforcing agent or a filler for example. Such resin 6 has <=0.1% forming shrinkage factor, <=0.2% water absorbing factor and <=150 deg.C forming temperature respectively. With this small forming shrinkage factor of the resin, no narrow gap is produced between the core and the case 1. This prevents the occurrence of the defective earth. |
