<p>PURPOSE:To use an optimum cassette half or tape reel by the purpose of applications, by adding a shifting means to the reel shafts so that these shafts can close to or separate from each other and symmetrically on the basis of the center line between the reel shafts. CONSTITUTION:The reel shafts 3 and 3' move symmetrically in the direction where they close to or separate from each other on the basis of the center line l between them. At the same time, these shafts approach a recording/reproducing part 4 when they close to each other and then go away from the part 4 when they separate from each other. A shifting means 11 is set symmetrically to the line l. The means 11 secures an engagement between a pair of arms 11a and 11a' and the gear parts 11b and 11b' and at the same time turn these arms close to and separate from each other with the engagement part set as a fulcrum. In such way, the shafts 3 and 3' are set to the rotary terminals 11c and 11c' of the arms 11a and 11a' respectively.</p> |
