PURPOSE:To minimize an operation requested to an operator for the paper jamming during copy-process for the second surface and to reduce the load of the operator and to eliminate the generation of operational mistakes simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:When paper jamming is generated during copy-process of the second surface, the number of paper sheets stacked on an intermediate tray 51 and the number of paper sheets ejected onto a copy tray are different, and the papers stacked on the intermediate tray, however, are detected by a paper sensor 54 respectively, and the number of paper sheets stacked is recorded in a controlling device, and as the number of paper sheets passed a paper ejection sensor 52 until the copy cycling which detects what papers on the tray 51 have run out by a paper sensor 53 is finished, is also recorded by a controlling device, the shortage number of papers is perceived from the difference of these numbers. On the basis of this, copying of the second surface is performed on the needed number of papers, and each paper is passed through an auxiliary path 25 and is subjected to a switch-pack and is stacked on the tray 51. Further, a display that the process of the second surface is finished is performed and a copy-process of the first face is performed by supplying papers on the tray 51 to a resist roller 22. |
