PURPOSE:To improve the fuel consumption saving effect remarkably by making the fuel cut feasible again at a fuel recover engine speed lower than a fuel cut engine speed when an automatic speed change gear is down shifted in response to a braking operation. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cut control circuit interrupting the fuel feed while an engine speed is equal to or more than a fuel recover engine speed when an accelerator pedal is released is provided in a fuel injection control circuit 100 which is fed with individual signals from a fuel injection time sensor 1, cooling water temperature sensor 2, engine load sensor 3, and accelerator pedal sensor 4. A pseudo-idle signal generator circuit 300 is also provided. Then, when an idle signal S1 from the above-mentioned sensor 4 and a braking signal SB from a brake sensor 6 are input, a down shift solenoid 8 is actuated and also a pseudo-idle signal is generated corresponding to that occurring if the accelerator pedal is depressed at a predetermined time lag and is again released. |
