PURPOSE:To eliminate the occurrence of a recording/reproducing error, by confirming automatically that no position shift exists through the coincidence secured at an address part. CONSTITUTION:When an instruction address DA is received from a computer, an FF29 is first set and then a selector 27 selects an output CAR. When an address SDIF is set at 0 or originally 0, the FF29 is reset by a comparator 28. Then the selector 27 selects an output RCAR and at the same time feeds continuously the output RCAR of a serial-parallel converter 30 to a present address register 17 for the next positioning. Then the speed mode is changed to the position mode, and the FF29 is set again by the signal with which the output RCAR, i.e., a data head 4 is positioned at a correct track of a disk 1 while a differential address SDIF is kept at 0. Thus the positioning is completed in a certain period of time. |
