PURPOSE:To adapt a stripping pump the most properly for setting in a danger area requiring an explosion-proof structure and improve the accuracy of indication and the speed of response by adopting light for the stroke signal of the stripping pump and an optical fiber cable for transmission. CONSTITUTION:In a light-sending part 1 provided in a safety area, for example, light is generated by a luminous diode, and transmitted to a sensor part 3 in a danger area via an optical fiber cable 2. The light that comes out from an end face 2a of this cable 2 enters into an end face 6a of another optical fiber cable 6. At this stage, it is changed by a shield plate 32 reciprocating between both end faces into intermittent lights, which enter into the opposite end face 6a as a pulse light signal. Subsequently, the pulse signal is brought out again to the safety area via the optical fiber cable 6, and inputted into a light-receiving part 7. The light signal is electrically converted in the light-receiving part 7 and outputted as a pulse signal. The signal is inputted into a signal computation part, calculated into a number of strokes per minute, and outputted into an indication part rapidly and correctly. |
