PURPOSE:To know the recording end state in a clear and assured way and to prevent previously the subsequent undesired recording or other operations, by providing a record finishing detecting means for plural circular recording tracks. CONSTITUTION:A titled device consists of following parts. A magnetic head 8 is fed out one more step by a head shifting mechanism 23 after the recording is finished with the final recording track by the head 8. Thus a switch part 68 is driven to cut off an electrical contact. A press stage part presses a projection provided at an end 69a of an approximately L-shaped contact arm 69 which forms a contact of one side of the part 68 when one step is fed after the recording is finished to the final track. As a result, an electrical contact is cut off between a contact part 70 and the arm 69 which form the part 68. |
