<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture by fixing a weather strip specifically to a partner member through a specific fixing clip with the head portion of the clip inserted into the hollow seal rip. CONSTITUTION:In a weather strip 1 equipped with a hollow seal rip 2, the head portion 8 of the clip 7 formed wider than the dimension of the molded base of the both side walls 2a, 2b of the rip is inserted into the hollow section 3, then the strip 1 is fixed to the opposite member 11 by means of a clip 7 to flex the side walls 2a, 2b outwardly between the head portion 8 and the member 11 thus to partially lower the height of the rip 2. Consequently the interference between the strip 1 and the striker 15 at the opening/closing of the door body 11 can be avoided thereby the strip 1 can be manufactured without requiring the additional molding.</p> |
