PURPOSE:To improve the sound pressure versus frequency characteristics due to step and recess, by covering small holes of a flat diaphragm with a flat filling plate having one plane and constituting that this filling plate and the flat diaphragm are mated for the surface. CONSTITUTION:A flat type speaker consists of a flat diaphragm 1, a flat filling plate 12 fitted at the center of the diaphragm 1, and a magnetic circuit 7 supporting the vibration comprising a voice coil bobbin 5 system to a frame 4 with an edge 2 and a spider 6 and clipping the bobbin 5. By fixing the plate 12 to the diaphragm 1, small holes of the diaphragm 1 are covered to obtain a flat type speaker having the flat diaphragm 1 without steps and recesses. The small holes are used to insert tools in assembling the vibration system. Thus, the sound pressure versus frequency characteristics due to the steps and recesses can be improved. |
