PURPOSE:To detect quickly and surely troubles of a fan for cooling an electronic device, by discriminating a fan trouble when a fan driving current detection value is outside a prescribed range. CONSTITUTION:A current for driving a fan 1 is detected by a current detector 3. If a trouble occurs in the fan 1 to cause the lowering of number of revolution or the stop of rotation, the detection value of the detector 3 is outside a prescribed range to discriminate the trouble, and the detector 3 issues an alarm signal or the like. Thus, the fan driving current is monitored directly to detect quickly and surely troubles of the fan. |
