PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of measurement by providing a reference object 3 in the position where said object faces an introducing port for radiation heat from a measuring object by way of a mirror type rotary chopper C having a 45 deg. inclined mirror rotated and driven by a motor. CONSTITUTION:A reference object 3 is provided in the position where it faces an introducing port (lens) 2 for radiation heat from a measuring object 1 by way of a mirror type rotary chopper C having a 45 deg. inclined mirror rotated and driven by a motor M. A radiation heat detector 4 is provided on the lateral side on the mirror side of the chopper 1, whereby the radiation thermometer is so constituted as to measure the radiation heat from the object 1 and the radiation heat from the object 3 alternately. The radiation heat is measured with extremely high accuracy by utilizing the natural constant temp. body which exhibits substantially a constant temp. state in a natural state as a reference temp. |
