PURPOSE:To improve a partial characteristic of an ignition device by a method wherein a continuous ignition and discharging function is applied to a desired burner for a gas instrument provided with a plurality of burners, an alarm is operated for a specified period of time by a delay circuit after the ignition and a completion of ignition can be acknowledged. CONSTITUTION:When one of a plurality of gas cocks, for example, 20n is pushed and turned, the switches Sw-1n and Sw-2n are turned on, and non-combustion gas is injected from the burner 21n. At this time, one end 4n-1 of the flame rod circuit 4n is at a high potential, the transistor Tr1-n is turned off, transistor Tr2-n is turned on and an output of AND circuit 6 is in L level. Therefore, a hing voltage generating part 13 is driven through an oscillation control circuit 7, and oscillation circuit 8 and a continuous ignition and discharging is performed in the discharging electrodes 17a to 17n. Thereby, if burner 21n is ignited and one end 4n-1 shows a low potential, an ignition and discharging are terminated and at the same time the differentiation circuit 10, control circuit 11 and the driving circuit 12 are driven and the piezoelectric buzzer 19 is rung until Sw-2n is turned on. |
