摘要 PURPOSE:To utilize a reactive power compensating device effectively for voltage compensation by controlling switching from a siganal from a reactive power detecting circuit to a signal to a system voltage detecting circuit when the varying load of this system is stopped. CONSTITUTION:A current transformer 9 detects and inputs the current of a varying load 3 to a varying load stop detecting circuit 11D to detect a varying load stopping state. The output of this circuit 11D switches a changeover switch 11E. The switch 11E is connected to a side (a) while the load is still in operation, and changed over to a side (b) when it stops. Therefore, a reactive power detecting circuit 11A is connected to a firing angle control circuit 11B while load is in operation, and a reactive power compensating device 2 performs control in accordance with reactive power that the load 3 generates. While the load 3 is not in operation, a voltage detecting circuit 11C is connected to the circuit 11B. Consequently, the device 2 detects the influence of voltage variation from another power consuming system through the circuit 11C to perform control which corresponds to the voltage variation, thereby performing voltage compensation.
