<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a controlling device used for constantly fixing the angularly turning position of a laying head at the time of discharging a wire rod, by correcting the speed of laying pinch rolls by a position-correcting signal of a material to be rolled obtained from a laying-head-position signal and a travelling-position signal of said material. CONSTITUTION:A turning position of a laying head located on the downstream of a rolling mill FM is detected by a pulse oscillator PG2 used for the laying head, to generate the detected signal by a laying-head position-signal generator. Further, a travelling position of the tail end of a material X to be rolled is detected by a pulse oscillator PG1 used for a finish mill and a pulse oscillator PG3 used for laying pinch rolls, and the respective detected-signals are generated by a travelling-position-signal generating device. These position signals are inputted to a position-correcting-signal generating device. This position signal is used to correct the speed of laying pinch rolls LP after a passing of the material X through the mill FM. Further, the speed of the mill FM when the material X is passing is corrected according to demand.</p> |
