PURPOSE:To input ruled lines by distinguishing between interline cross ruled line and interline cross ruled line without increasing key numbers and operating steps by using a system in which the display form of a cursor can be switched to two kinds, upper 1/2 and lower 1/2 of one letter width. CONSTITUTION:In a letter display input unit capable of displaying print information on a display picture by using a cursor, as in a word processor, a selection means by which one line of letter (a) is divided into upper half (b) and lower half (c) and displayed and a memory means by which the display form of the cursor is stored are provided. By this, in the case of (a)' where a display form in which cross ruled line is drawn beneath the cursor is taken, interline cross ruled line (b)' can be printed if upper 1/2 line display (b) is selected, and also interline cross ruled line (c)' can be printed if lower 1/2 line display (c) is selected. |
