<p>Transfer mechanism is described for discharging dough pieces from a pivoted pocket conveyor as used from dough divider to and through a proving chamber in a bread bakery. Each pocket is pivoted on a horizontal axis extending oaxially through a pair of external pivot studs on opposed sidewalls of the pockets. Each stud is surrounded by an eccentric ring which, at the discharge zone, rides over a cam track. Cam action on the ring turns the pocket through 180 deg. to discharge the dough piece. Continuing advane returns the pocket a further 180 deg. to reloading position withou stiking or oscillation.</p> |
