The invention relates to a panelled wall, in the case of which, in contrast to known panelled walls in which panel boards, of the height of a room or half the height of a room, are fitted together directly by means of a groove/tongue connection and are usually positioned on a substructure, the panel boards are introduced between neighbouring panelled-wall bars. This makes it possible both to use short and thus inexpensive panel boards and also to mount the panel wall by DIY. Moreover, it is possible to exchange various divisions of such a panelled wall without difficulty, and the same goes for attaching superstructures, partition boards and shelves. <IMAGE>
