Capillary structure application method to pipe interior - pulls meshwork strip through to expand under inherent tension

The method applies a capillary structure to the inside of an internally smooth pipe up to 200 metres long. A strip of meshwork formed by wires, and whose width is equal to or slightly less than the internal circumference of the pipe, is pulled into it, its inherent stress causing it to bear firmly against the inside wall. The strip can be pulled into place by clamping between a ring and a cone, a rope being attached to the latter, and it can also be attached by eyes directly to the rope.
