PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor high in sensitivity and superior in durability, by forming an org. photoconductive layer contg. a specified cyano-substd. phenol deriv. and an org. photoconductor. CONSTITUTION:(A) An org. photoconductor, such as di-(p-chlorobenzyl)-aniline, amounting to 1pt.wt., (B) 0.01-1pt.wt. cyano-substd. phenol deriv. having the right formula (R1 is H, 1-4C alkyl; R2 is cyano, halogen, or an aromatic residue; m is 1 or 2; and n is 0 or 1), and (C) 0.1-30pts.wt. binder resin, such as polystyrene, are mixed and dissolved in a proper solvent, and this coating soln. is coated on a conductive substrate to form an org. photoconductive layer, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic receptor to be low in residual potential causing fog, small in accumulation of residual potential due to repeated uses, and fluctuation of surface potential and sensitivity, and superior in durability. |
