<p>The map such as a road map for guiding the driver of a vehicle is rolled up inside a tube, so that it can be extended from the tube for use. The tube is suspended inside the vehicle from the roof or back of a seat etc. Several cylinders can be used, carrying several maps. The maps can be made of a plastics material, with some zones carried by transparent sections of the sheet. When unrolled, a tube mounted above a windscreen can also be used as an anti glare device for protection from e.g. oncoming headlights at night. Easily removable notes can be made on the plastics material.</p> |
