In a continuous casting plant with a mould (4) and a strand guiding section (8) adjoining the mould, a guide curve (10) adjoins the strand guiding section (8) and has longitudinal curved supports (11,11') carrying the rollers (12). So that the strand guiding section (8) adjoining the mould is automatically exactly aligned with the following guide curve (10) after being incorporated in the continuous casting plant, resulting in a measurement of the continuous casting plant no longer being required after this strand guiding section (8) has been incorporated, the longitudinal curved supports (11') lying on the outside or on the inside of the curve are made so as to be lengthened upwards as far as the mould (4), and the strand guiding section (8) adjoining the mould is supported on the longitudinal curved supports (11'), the mould (4) being if necessary guided on the first strand guiding section (8) following it. <IMAGE>
