Combined oven for microwave and conventional resistance-heating operation, in which the cooking space (1) has an input opening (3) which is covered by a plate (6) consisting of microwave-permeable material, and a sealing arrangement (8) is interposed between the plate (6) and an input housing (11) situated below the input opening (3). For the purpose of producing an economical and reliable seal for the input housing (11) with regard to the cooking space (1), a recess (5) is formed in the support region of the plate (6), into which recess a material (8) serving as seal is introduced, into which the plate (6) is pressed with a circumferential web (7) formed on its underside. <IMAGE>
