<p>An image formation method which has the steps of forming a toner image on an image carrier (11) having an amorphous silicon layer as a constituent, transferring the toner image onto an intermediate transfer unit (33) to form a primary transfer image, and thermally transferring the image to another transfer unit (27) to form a secondary transfer image, thereby always enabling the formation of a stable, clear copy image with a high transfer efficiency irrespective of the ambient temperature and humidity.</p> |
