The photogrammetric analyser for the superimposed viewing of an aerial photo and a map (20) has a logic circuit (30) which determines for each location on the map designated by a moving marker (31) the displacements Sx, Sy between aerial and map image necessary for compensating for affinity and perspective distortion. The circuit scans the position of the marker via position transducers (34, 35) and, by means of positioning motors (32, 33), controls the rotations of two plane-parallel plates (22, 23) which shift the beam path (St3) between map and observer in such a manner that the distortion is compensated for locally - at the location of the marker. For the prior determination of the necessary distortion parameters, the analyser has a keyboard (36) for manually setting the plates, and a switch (37) for correlating this setting with the instantaneous position of the marker and storing corresponding signals in the circuit (30). <IMAGE>
