The buffer comprises a deformable body of rubber, with a bottom part (15) attachable to the buffer base and wall parts (16). The latter parts are connected to each other so that a central hollow space is formed in the body. - When an external thrust force is directed towards the outer ends (20) of the wall parts, these are firstly compressed, bending under the effect of specific force, and deforming under limited excess external force.
