<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the frequency of occurrence of out-of-focus due to the quick depression of a shutter button, by counting an approximate time required for the range finding operation by a timer, where a time limit corresponding to brightness is set, to hold a camera. CONSTITUTION:When a shutter button 6 is depressed to the first stroke, power is supplied to a controlling part 14, and the range finding operation and the photometric operation are performed in a range finding part 16 and a photometric part 26 respectively. If the shutter button 6 is depressed to the second stroke by quick depression in course of the range finding operation, the controlling part 14 sets a time which is shorter according as the brightness is higher, to a timer 62 on a basis of photometric data from the photometric part 26, and a lens start signal is outputted from the controlling part 14 to a lens controlling part 60 when the time set to the timer 62 elapses, and feeding of a photographic lens 40 is started.</p> |
