System for flue heat recovery - has sheet metal heating box mounted in flue traversed by small dia. pipes through which water is circulated

The system is made of sheet steel and has a heating box to which is welded two perforated plates. Eighteen fume tubes having a dia. of 50 mm are welded to the plates. A left and a right fume box are welded to the heating box and to these are welded a left and right side plate holding six threaded rods. Two other side plates containing six holes for the rods are welded to opposite ends of the box. Nozzles are welded to the side plates and there are left and right asbestos joints. Threaded pipes are provided for hot water exit and cold water entry into and out of the box.
