PURPOSE:To enable ejecting energy to be utilized efficiently as a constantly fixed propelling force irrespective of the velocity of a ship, by a method wherein the title accelerator is used as a propeller for a ship or the like, and a jet is converted into a turning flow which is deflected form an ejecting direction to a direction orthogonal to the ejecting direction. CONSTITUTION:The jet 2 from an ejector 1 is deflected to the direction orthogonal to the ejecting direction by a turning device 3, which is integrally connected to the ejector 1 by a connecting member 4. The propelling force of the jet 2 is deflected from the direction of an arrow A to the direction of an arrow B, and the force is not changed even when the velocity of the traveling body is increased. |
