PURPOSE:To enable to thoroughly coat with paint the whole surfaces of a hood ridge panel and of the front fender panel by a method wherein the hood ridge panel and the front fender panel are rendered to be temporarily fitted by keeping aloof from each other through an engaging part. CONSTITUTION:The front fender panel 1 is temporarily fitted by respectively hooking openings 12 and 14 to hooks 11 and 13 and painted under said temporarily fitted state. Because a continuous clearance A is formed between the upper part of the front fender panel 1 and the hood ridge panel 3 and as well as a continuous clearance B is formed between the lower part of the front fender panel 1 and a sill 6, primer and paint applied to the panel 1 during painting process flow as illustrated with the arrows, resulting in enabling to thoroughly paint the whole surface of the panel. After the painting is finished, the panel 1 is unhooked from the hooks 11 and 13 and set to the position as illustrated with the virtural lines in order to be permanently fixed to the panel 3 and the sill 6 by means of weld nuts 4 and 7 and bolts 5 and 8. |
