PURPOSE:To improve output in the engine in such a way that a water injection nozzle to inject water is installed in an exhaust pipe which is connected to a combustion chamber, and a turbine is turned by steam which has been generated. CONSTITUTION:After explosion and combustion by an engine 1 equipped with turbocharger, exhaust gas is exhausted through an exhaust port 1. When water is injected through an injection nozzle 6 into high temperature exhaust gas, steam is generated, and a turbine 7 is turned at high speed. Revolution of the turbine 7 is transmitted to a supercharger 8, and it compresses suction air, and is fed into a combustion chamber. Thus, output from the engine 1 can be improved, and further can conduce to energy saving. |
